York Terrace East flats are located close to Regent’s Park and consist of 32 studio flats for couples and 12 two bedroomed flats for families.
A studio flat consists of a large room with a kitchen area and shower room. Each studio is fully furnished with a double bed and the kitchen is fully equipped.
A family flat consists of a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen area and shower room. Each flat is fully furnished with a double bed in one bedroom and bunk beds in the other. The kitchen is fully equipped.
At York Terrace East, ISH provides central heating during the winter months without extra charge. Electricity key meters are provided for lighting, cooking and hot water.
ISH provides a direct dial telephone service at York Terrace East. The connection fee is £20 and the rental is £45 per annum. Each flat is issued with an individual number and is charged monthly for all calls.
Broadband Internet connection is available at £12 per month.
Laundry facilities are available at York Terrace East and Great Portland Street. Vacuum cleaners, sewing machines and other items can be borrowed from the reception desk.
There are payphones and a photocopy machine at York Terrace East and Great Portland Street.
Keeping the flat in good order is the responsibility of the tenant. Breakages must be reported and any damage repaired. Any repair work outstanding when the flat is vacated will be charged for and the amount deducted from the total deposit. An inspection of each flat will be made periodically. It is expected that residents clean their flat prior to departure. Extensions for tenancy can be considered before the lease expires, but residence for more than four years cannot be considered. One month’s written notice of termination is required.
The cleaning of the communal hallways, staircases and landings, all staircase windows and other external windows is undertaken by ISH. Residents are required to allow access to their flats when necessary and for cleaning of the outside windows.
The residences at York Terrace East are fitted with a UHF aerial system for television. Residents can arrange to rent or purchase a television and are then responsible for paying their own television licence fee.
We regret that car parking facilities are not available. Public transport is frequent and comprehensive.
