Welcome to Goats International the Alumni Association of International Students House (ISH)
The name of the ISH Alumni, Goats International, carries on a wonderful tradition. Mary Trevelyan started a club for international students in October 1956 and was anxious to find a memorable name for it. A chance meeting with a group of African students, who mentioned that without Mary they would be 'lost Goats' in London, gave her the name.
Out of this club grew the residence and organisation now called International Students House and the Alumni is comprised of club members and ex-residents of ISH. Currently there are over 6,500 members spread across the world.
