You can help future generations of students living at International Students House by creating a legacy...
Mary Trevelyan’s own legacy
Mary Trevelyan, as the founder of and inspiration for International Students House, together with all her other personal and professional activities with international students, are a legacy that can never be quantified.Since it’s opening by our Patron, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1965, International Students House has been a home to countless students from all over the world where life-long friendships have been formed.
These generations of students, which include you, are now the Alumni of International Students House, popularly called ‘Goats’. You have returned to your own countries and are pursuing successful careers. Many of you hold distinguished positions, in the judiciary, in politics, in medicine, in commerce, in sport and in the arts, to name just a few fields of endeavour. What you all share in common is the unique experience of having lived together in an international home where no boundaries or distinctions between peoples have ever existed.
Mary Trevelyan’s legacy is now entrusted to you. With your financial support, International Students House can preserve her vision and ideals and continue to build on them into the 21st Century.
We urge you to consider leaving a gift in your Will towards the fulfillment of this goal.
How would you like your legacy used?
You can for example choose amongst the following:
- to be added to its Scholarship schemes and to provide assistance for students experiencing hardship
- to be used for a specific purpose of your choice
- to be used to support the activities of International Students House
