Ayana lived at ISH from August 2007-2008. Whilst it was her first time being away from home, Ayana formed a supportive circle of friends who all had their own experiences of living away from home and particularly with settling into life in London. The warmth she felt as she entered the ISH building made it feel like home for her thanks to everyone from staff, to residents. Ayana would like to continue providing a place of comfort for the international students through being an Ambassador. Ayana works in Human Resources at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus in Trinidad and Tobago.
