Donal is currently Head of Growth at ActionFunder, a start-up which connects business and philanthropic funding to grassroots community action. Before this, Donal worked in Asia, North America and Europe for five years with the social mobility movement the Karta Initiative, bridging the divide between underserved communities in India and world-class educational and employment opportunities. In another life he also worked as a journalist in Buenos Aires and at a think tank in Berlin. He holds an undergraduate degree from Durham University and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge. Outside of work he’s cooking, exploring, or volunteering for Migrateful.
